Mr. Kamlesh Satish Pradhan

Mr. Kamlesh Satish Pradhan has been serving as the President of Dnyanasadhana, Thane (Society) since September 20, 2024. Prior to this role, he held the position of General Secretary from April 9, 2014, to September 19, 2024. His extensive experience with the society also includes serving as Joint Secretary from September 28, 2010, to April 8, 2014, and being a Benefactor Member since June 30, 2004. Mr. Kamlesh S. Pradhan is managing the day-to-day administrative and financial responsibilities at Satish Pradhan Dnyanasadhana College, Thane (formerly known as Dnyanasadhana College) – a Premier Educational Institute registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1960, on 2nd July 1980 and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. He has been instrumental in setting up Educational Institutions such as Dnyanasadhana Vidyaniketan School (CBSE Board, 3.06.2008 to 31.03.2014), Dnyanasadhana Asian Institute of Core Competence (DAICC, 6.04.2005 to 31.03.2019) – Sikkim Manipal University Distance Education Centre and Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Ltd. (MKCL) – Authorized Learning Centre. He was a Proprietor – Mahuli Darshan Farm, Khaniwali Village, Thane District, Owner – Marathon Monthly Sport Magazine and a Designer – Interior Designing & Decorations for more than 10 years.

Mr. Kamlesh S. Pradhan has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam University, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He is an International Marathoner with 6 Internationals, 29 – Nationals and Thane/Mumbai Marathons. He has completed total 16 Half Marathons (21.097 kms) which is an outstanding achievement.

Mr. Kamlesh S. Pradhan and his father Shri. Satish S. Pradhan’s Photograph were featured on the Cover page of KYT (Know Your Town) Magazine for ‘Taking Education to Masses’, Vol 2, Issue 12, RNI No. MAHENG/2013/50556/ Regd. No. THC/187/2016-2018/ May 2018. He was also associated with Thane Varsha Marathon Trust, Abhiman Foundation and Satish Pradhan Sports Foundation. He has been invited as a Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and Motivational Speaker for various programs in and around Thane and Mumbai. He had previously worked as a Project Coordinator, US Instruments Pvt Ltd, Thane and a Designer at Neterwala & Aibara Interiors Designers, Mumbai, Sankalpan Architects Pvt Ltd, Mumbai, Shashi Prabhu & Associates, Mumbai and Jathar & Jathar Architects & Interior Designer, Thane.

Mr. Kamlesh S. Pradhan was on the Advisory Committee, in a Five Day Online International Faculty Development Programme on “Evolution from Offline to Online”, organized by IQAC, Satish Pradhan Dnyanasadhana College in association with Department of Information Technology, University of Mumbai, Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University and Microsoft (30th May to 3rd June 2020) and in Seven Day Online International Student Development Programme on “E-Learning: Blackboard to Broadband”, organized by IQAC, Satish Pradhan Dnyanasadhana College in association with Department of Commerce, University of Mumbai (30th June to 6th July 2020).Mr. Kamlesh S. Mr. Kamlesh Pradhan has been a Patron in many National and International Conferences and Conclave such as One Day Online National Conference on “Building Back Better: Accelerating Sustainable Recovery Post Covid-19” (20th January 2022), One Day International Conference on “Being Me – Understanding Different Dimensions of LGBTQIA + Community” (20th September 2022), Conclave on “Transforming Higher Education institutions into the New World of Quality Education Via National Educational Policy 2020” in collaboration with (NAAC) National Assessment and Accreditation Council, (ICSSR) Indian Council of Social Sciences Research and the University of Mumbai (30th June 2023) and an International Conference on “Revolutionizing Institutional Learning: innovative Approaches and Advancement in Higher Education through NEP 2020 Reviewing, Reflecting, Reforming” (30th September 2023).

Furthermore, Mr. Kamlesh S. Pradhan is actively involved in the services to the society by his Noble act of Charity and Donations such as Relief fund – Food Grains 5400 kgs, 250 Sarees, Biscuits, Farsans, Clothes for kids and adults and necessary basic requirements to the flood affected people in Sangli and Kolhapur (15th & 16th August 2023), Flood Relief – Basic Requirements to the Gram Panchayat Deole, Poladpur, Raigad (22nd July 2021) Funds for CycloEdu: Empowering Girls in Rural Murbad with 5 Cycles and Educational Kits to Aamhi Cycle Premi Foundation (May 2023), Rs. 50,000 to Anamprem at Snehalaya Parivar: Disabled Rehabilitation Centre for 150 inmates (30th January 2020), Rs. 1,11,111.00/- to Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Relief Fund CRMF – COVID 19 (1st April 2020), 3 Computers (used) to Bahini Samaj, Thane (25th January 2022) and developed the project ‘Learn and get experienced in Agro-Farming’ Mahuli Darshan Farm, Khaniwali Village, Bhiwandi Taluka, Thane District.
